During my recent stay at Maison Cadorette, I was drawn to its proximity to Parc National Mauricie, making it an ideal base for exploration. The ambiance exuded rustic charm, and while the décor was not modern, it offered essential comfort for weary travelers. One of the highlights was the culinary experience. The onsite restaurant impressively showcased local ingredients, and I savored a delightful dinner that was beautifully plated. Breakfast the next morning featured fresh, healthy options, reflecting the region's rich produce. Nadine was a gracious host, ensuring the dining experience was seamless-even accommodating the late risers like myself with a warm smile. Although the rates are a bit higher than expected for a two-star accommodation, the culinary offerings and strategic location make it a worthwhile stop for those exploring the natural beauty of the area.
